Occupational Qualifications (NQF Registered)
Torq Zone Academy is accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) to offer the following National Qualifications Framework (NQF) registered occupational qualifications (QCTO Accr No SDP061123132934):
- Occupational Certificate: Bicycle Repairer, NQF Level 3, 43 Credits, SAQA ID 103096
- Occupational Certificate: Bicycle Special Components Repairer, NQF Level 4, 28 Credits, SAQA ID 103094
- Occupational Certificate: Bicycle Mechanic, NQF Level 4, 84 Credits (13 if done individually), SAQA ID 99694
Each of these has the following components, which are delivered in the following places:
- Knowledge & Practical Component – Torq Zone Academy (an accredited Skills Development Provider [SDP])
- Workplace Experience Component – registered workplace (registered by merSETA [TZA is committed to assisting workplaces with registration])
- External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) – registered Assessment Centre (soon to be Torq Zone Academy)
